Take Crescent Road to Beecher Street and continue to the water. Just after the turn of the century, this was a vacation area once graced by the Crescent Hotel and a pier at the foot of Beecher Street. Enjoy the warm waters of the bay in the protected swimming area. The sandy beach and tidal pools are wonderful for playing and building sand castles.
