The Power House at Stave Falls, a National Historic Site, offers an exciting all-ages experience, with interactive games and historic displays that tell the story of how power helped build this province. As you explore the Power House, you will learn how electricity is made, see penstocks, turbines, and generators. Visit the Power House online, at BC Hydro's web site, for photos, additional information and a directional map.
Take the Lougheed Highway (Scenic 7) to 287th Street in Maple Ridge. Turn north and follow 287th to Dewdney Trunk Road. Turn right and follow the signs to the Power House.
