Mountains, fields, grazing cattle and brilliantly coloured wild flowers surround this unique five acre 1920s BC Heritage Attraction, located in Harrison Mills. View the ramps and elevated boardwalks, built to stay above the once annual flood waters, which gave this community its unique local architecture. Step back in time with costumed interpreters, as you are guided through the magnificent 100 year old General Store Museum once owned by the Kilby family. Visitors may view a fascinating gallery of products and packaging still displayed on the shelves that date back to the 1920s. Intriguing artifacts await you in the Heritage Post Office and Manchester House Hotel, both significant fixtures of the Harrison Mills community at the turn of the century. Up the creaking stairs to the hotel explore exhibits about the community, local First Nations and just how life was back in the day. Out on the grounds you’ll find the entrance to the Kilby’s basement which is full of tools and equipment of the family’s workshop. On the farm, you'll meet our Jersey cow and calves, chickens, piglets, sheep, lambs, goat, rabbits, and turkeys. Children will find a terrific tree fort, teeter-totter and a variety of old fashioned games in the Orchard Playground! Enjoy a hearty, home cooked meal at our restaurant, with the best country cooking this side of the Fraser River! Fresh homemade pies and pastries are made daily. Browse the unique gift shop stuffed full with items made from local Fraser Valley artisans. We carry a wide selection of farm fresh preserves, honey, sauces, jams and jellies. Our events calendar for our 100th Anniversary is packed with many special celebrations. For more information regarding our 2006 season’s pass or to become a member or volunteer please contact us. Open Daily in May, June, July & August and open Thursday through to Monday in April, September & October.
