Fraser Valley Bald Festival

Send a Message  Visit Website

You are invited to Discover the Valley of the Eagles on this weekend in November as the Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival celebrates the yearly return of North America's third largest population of over-wintering bald eagles. Arriving to feast on the remains of salmon spawning in the Harrison and Fraser Rivers, over 1000 of the majestic birds perch high in the cottonwood trees and soar overhead searching for their next meal. This is the 13th year that the festival has celebrated not only the return of these magnificent birds but the rich and biologically diverse Fraser Valley which continues to sustain them. At the heart of the event is the opportunity to view hundreds of bald eagles in their natural habitat along the Harrison River as well as a chance to learn more about the delicate balance that is needed to sustain a healthy and resilient environment.
