LANGLEY'S 8TH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL

A multi-cultural event that happens every year in August. The purpose of the Langley's International Festival is to unite people from all cultures This is our 8th year in celebrating diversity in Langley. Come join us on the following dates to enjoy the following spectacular activities: Sat July 11th, 2009 - Langley's 2nd International Soccer Tournament (non-professional). Come and Watch 20 teams representing different countries around the globe compete in a non-professional soccer tournament. Winning team receives cash and trophy. Other activities include kite flying for the kids, activity booths and barbecue for all to enjoy. Venue at Willoughby Community Centre: Park and Fields, Langley, BC FREE ADMISSION. Sat August 8th, 2009 - Langley's Internatioanl Festival Main Day event. Festival starts at 10 -6pm. Festival highlights include: International Stage and Dance Performances, Parade of Nations, International Marketplace, International Dog Show, International Food Showcase - Iron Chef, Senior and Youth Chalets, Diversity Health Fair, Diversity Employment Fair and many more. Latin Dance Party starts from 6-730pm. Venue at Douglas Park, Langley BC. FREE ADMISSION. Sunday August 9th, 2009 - Music and Theatre in the Park. Have a picnic in Douglas Park with ongoing Classical music entertainment at Spirit Square from 12-4pm and Live Theatre Entertainment of Romeo and Juliet playing from 7-930pm at the same location.
