Aboriginal Arts and Culture Celebration in honor of the Aboriginal Awareness Month, located at Mill Lake Park , Abbotsford, BC . This free event is hosted by the Abbotsford Arts Council and will be held June 4, 2016 from 11am 4pm. We have over 10 First Nation Artisan booths, Aboriginal Artist working on their craft so the public has a unique experience engaging with the artist. We also will have center stage with Matsqui Youth drumming group, Fraser Valley Metis Association Fiddlers and Jiggers, Storytellers, Sonny McHalsie, Darren Charlie and Eagle Child. For the kids there is the chance to enjoy First Nation culture and do crafts, face painting, games and blow bubbles in our children's tent. Also an opportunity to enjoy fresh bannock and smoked salmon. So bring the family, pack a picnic lunch and come enjoy what First Nation Art, Culture and Traditions has to offer!
