The park features open green space, walk ways, benches, the cenotaph and a band stand. Set in the midst of Municipal government offices, Haney Place Mall, "The Beast" Clock Tower, the Leisure Centre (swimming pools, gymnasium, etc), the Library and the Greg Moore Youth Centre. Historical markers depict former structures on the site. The Park is adjacent to the main shopping area on 224th Street and along Dewdney Trunk Road where you will also find numerous restaurants.
